I did try /etc/init.d/nessusd stop as well and it says shutdown process but the same result it didn't work, it seems like the process is somewhere in the limbo deb to install Nessus from the and it seems to install it properly if I listed using dpkg-query -l it does show installed and all but when I run /etc/init.d/nessusd start it never starts the process, I grep it ps -ef | grep nessus or using ps -aux, top, search by port sudo ss 8843, sudo netstat -tulpn and the process/PID is not showing and the weird part is that if I tried to sudo /opt/nessus/sbin/nessuscli fix -reset-all it say: Please shut down the Nessus service before running -reset-all. I follow the steps to download the package. so I decided to start the fresh installation and here is where I'm struggling: The first time I tried to install Nessus it goes fine but it stuck in the initialization part/loading plugins. I' using WSL2 with kali-linux and I did upgrade and update already.
